I absolutely loved this engagement session, for so many reasons! Samantha and Parker are one of those couples that you meet and instantly feel like best friends. Parker’s goofy personality and Samantha’s sweet spirit is so inviting. We shot their Tuscaloosa engagement session right before all of the craziness of COVID-19 hit. Little did I know that their engagement session would be one of my last shoots for over a month. But, I could not have asked for a better last couple to shoot!! And the light at their engagement session was just dreamy! We had a little rain coming in and out, but that didn’t stop these two from acting like total naturals in front of the camera and loving every bit of it.
The story of how their relationship started is so worth sharing. Luckily, I got to hear both point of views! Samantha had come to Tuscaloosa for school and didn’t know a soul. She got connected with Parker’s family and fit right in. She was super close with his sister and mom! It wasn’t until a friend invited them both to a football game that these became inseparable. From Parker’s perspective, he knew Samantha was on her way to Alabama and was introduced to her by his mom!! How sweet! He says he totally had a crush on her, but from afar! He finally mustered up the courage to ask her out and the rest was history!!
On any given week night you could typically find these two sharing a plate of nachos from Chuy’s. I mean, who doesn’t love that nacho cart!! These two both have such big hearts and love each other so well. Samantha loves how fun and genuine Parker is. This was so evident at their engagement session!! Samantha’s smile is what Parker loves most about her! Cue the tears!!
Samantha and Parker plan to tie the note on June 5th at Park Crest Event Facility in Birmingham, Alabama. I can’t wait for their day to get here so I can get them back in front of the camera! Check out some of my favorites from their Tuscaloosa engagement session below!!
