Theres always something a little extra special about the first wedding of the year. Maybe it’s because it is coming off the heels of a new year. And I think we can all agree we were ready for 2021 to get here! Everyone is excited and expectant for what is to come. Or maybe it’s just because it’s a new wedding day to shoot. Regardless, Kaki and Harris brought in this new year with a bang. Not only were they my largest wedding party I have ever shot (18 bridesmaids!! HA), they were also my longest and best party I’ve ever shot! These two have quite a group of friends that know how to party!
Kaki and Harris tied the knot on January 16th in Mountain Brook, Alabama at the beautiful St. Lukes Episcopal Church. The sanctuary of this church is pretty magnificent. Think, royal wedding type vibes! After saying their vows and sharing their first kiss as husband and wife, all of their friends and family headed over to Ovenbird to celebrate and dance the night away. And that’s exactly what they did. They danced and sang and celebrate the new marriage of Kaki and Harris. It was a joy having a front row seat to this beautiful wedding day.
Kaki and Harris, thank you both so much for allowing me the honor of photographing your stunning day. I hope you guys felt so loved and celebrated on your big day! It was truly a night to remember!
