A beautiful downtown Birmingham engagement session!! Meet Delaney and Peyton: childhood friends turned sweethearts, who are now only two short months away from becoming husband and wife!! Last week I had the privilege of shooting their engagement session in downtown Birmingham.

Like most couples, this was the first time Delaney and Peyton had their photos taken professional. That is why I love engagement sessions so much!! They were both naturals in front of the camera and made my job so easy!! Delaney and Peyton had me gushing over them their entire session. To start the session Delaney wore the cutest blush pink dress! Between these two love birds and the stunning backdrop of downtown Birmingham, I couldn’t have taken a bad photo if I tried!

These two met when they were only 14 years old!! That’s almost younger than even high school sweethearts! Middle school sweethearts?! Heck yes!! Would you believe it if I told you Delaney made the first move? She did!! She told me as crazy as it sounds she knew she had to give Peyton her phone number. How cute!! Fast forward to today, they are planning their dream wedding and getting excited to start their married life together!!

I am so excited to get these two back in front of my camera on August 2nd!! I know it is going to be a beautiful day!!
