If I had to pick three words to describe Erin and Forrest’s amazing wedding day it would be classic, southern and meaningful. Their incredible Spring wedding took place in Tuscaloosa at their home church. On the brink of the Coronavirus chaos they made the tough decision to trim down their guest list to keep their loved ones safe. The grace and joy with which they handled everything is a true testament to their incredible character and faith.
Forrest and Erin had waited so long to call each other “husband” and “wife” and they couldn’t wait another day longer. I feel like they truly understood the meaning of the day, it was about having a christ-centered marriage, and not just an event! From the very start of their day I could sense the peace they had.
Erin got ready that morning with so much excitement. Reality hit her and a new wave of joy washed over her when she stepped into a wedding dress. She was finally a bride! She looked absolutely perfect in her classic lace gown, like a proper southern bride should! It was so special to watch her mom help her get ready. They slowed down and truly soaked in every little moment together.
To say being a witness to their ceremony was an honor would be an understatement. It was truly a blessing to be able to cheer them on as they officially tied the knot in their home church. It was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that suited them in every way. Afterwards, they made their ceremony even sweeter by ending it with their first dance immediately after their recessional! It was a sweet ending to a beautiful day.
Erin and Forrest, thank you so much for allowing me to be apart of your beautiful wedding day. I cannot wait to celebrate with you guys later this year! – Abby
