Kelsey and Thomas Engagement Session

What a sweet engagement session this was! Growing up only miles apart, Kelsey and Thomas have known each other since they were little kids. Their love story is similar to that of a Nicholas Sparks book. Little kids walking down dirt roads together. Both their families are good friends. It was really only a matter of time before these two fell in love. These two are more than high-school sweethearts. Kelsey and Thomas are childhood sweethearts.

When the time finally came that they both admitted they would like to be more than just friends, it came a little shock to the family. However, their families are so excited to witness these two come together in marriage! Kelsey and Thomas have an incredible support system!

The way Thomas proposed was a testament to their long love! He popped the question in the most simplistic and sweet way, just the way Kelsey wanted! On a random Sunday, Thomas got down on one knee and asked his best friend if she would spend the rest of her life with him. Spoiler alert – she said yes!!

Thomas and Kelsey both have such a solid and grounded relationship with Jesus. They have been on countless mission trips to Honduras and are so excited to go again as husband and wife. Their hearts for others is what they love most about each other.

The backdrop of their engagement session was one that will go down as my favorites! I traveled to Gordo, Alabama for their engagement session. I photographed these two in front of Kelsey’s great grandmother’s home. Not only that, it is the home that these two will call their first home together! How sweet is that?

I cannot wait to get these two back in front of my camera for their wedding date on June 13th! I know that it is going to be a day filled with love, joy and family!! Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session.
