Summer in Tuscaloosa is always a little slower, a little warmer, and the perfect backdrop for celebrating a season as sweet as engagement. I had the best time spending the evening with Jenn and River for their engagement session and getting to document this exciting chapter before their wedding next spring. These two are getting married next April in Watercolor and after spending the evening with them, I am already so excited to celebrate alongside them on their wedding day. This session felt so effortless, and it was such a joy getting to capture the little moments between them. They felt like instant friends!

Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of the wedding experience because they give us the opportunity to spend time together before the wedding day. It’s a chance for my couples to get comfortable in front of the camera, experience how I work, and most importantly, simply enjoy being together without the rush of a wedding day.
