There are so many things you have to think about when planning your wedding day. Your engagement session is definitely high on that list. It’s the first time you and your soon-to-be get to be in front of the camera. Think of it like a practice run for photos on your wedding day. The photos taken at your engagement session are the ones you may use for your save the date. That means your photo will be on all of your guests fridges for months leading up to your wedding day. Therefore, the outfits you choose are super important! So, you may be thinking “I could use some engagement session outfit inspiration”! Well, I’m here to help!

I’ll never forget my own engagement session, I wanted to do something different when it came to my outfit. And I so regret it. I look back at those photos and think, I would never wear that. Why did I wear it for my engagement pictures?

That being said, my biggest piece of advice is to wear something you would wear again. I typically suggest for my couples to wear two outfits for their engagement: one casual outfit and one fancy outfit. This allows for you to have variety in your photos.

Here are a few examples of a few casual outfits:

1. Jeans, a peplum top and block heels

2. A casual dress and short booties

3. Jeans and a neutral sweater
