Bailey and John’s engagement session may go down as one of my absolute favorites, for a few different reasons. Everything about it was perfect! From the light to the location, it was all dreamy! We got to do their engagement session at a place very special to Bailey. It was pretty picture-perfect! We shot their session in Josephine. A place not too far from Fairhope, Alabama. Before their session, I had actually never heard of Josephine, Alabama but was excited to have the chance to shoot there.

Bailey’s family owns a beach house there and they happened to be there that weekend. You see, Bailey and John currently live in Tampa, FL so finding a time where they would be near Tuscaloosa before the wedding seemed nearly impossible. We decided to do it in Birmingham on a day we thought John would be off work. My in-laws live in Fairhope so I casually asked Bailey if they might be in that area anytime soon. She jumped at the opportunity to tell me about the family beach house. We decided it would be the perfect spot for their shoot.

The ease in which Bailey and John loved on each other and the joy they shared was truly what made their session so easy and so fun. John was super easy going and would do anything to make his bride happy! Bailey has the sweetest personality and I left their session feeling like close friends!

These two will be tying the knot next May surrounded by their family and friends! I know that it is going to be a beautiful day! I am counting down the days until I can get them back in front of my camera – this time as husband and wife! Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their Fairhope engagement session!!
