If anyone follows Lucy on instagram, then you too feel like you are total BFF’s with her!! I was so excited for Lucy and Brent’s Tuscaloosa engagement session, because I knew it would be like hanging out with old friends! Lucy and Brent were so easy to photograph and their engagement session has me really excited for their wedding day. Before COVID, I was going to have to wait until December to shoot their wedding. Now I only have to wait a little over a month!! How exciting! I think this is the one and only time I can say, thank you COVID!! 

Lucy and Brent have a super sweet love story. They met at her home church after being introduced to each other by, guess who!? Lucy’s mom!! Go mom! Fast forward a little bit to their proposal. Brent mapped out all of their favorite and most memorable dating spots in Tuscaloosa. They hit up places like Capstone and Starbucks where they had the first date. Then they visited the Arboretum because it is one of their favorite dates spots. Finally, before getting down on one knee, they came to UA’s campus where Brent asked Lucy to marry him. I am so happy that they chose to take their engagement photos there as well.

They both have the kindest hearts and I think that really shows in these photos from their session. They love each other so well and are heading into marriage with such a strong bond and relationship not only with each other, but also with the Lord. It is truly an honor to witness.
