Back in high school most people’s parents told them to not get “too attached” to their high-school significant other. “It will just end one day” and other phrases are common. For Anna and Charlie those cliche statements couldn’t have been any more wrong! These high-school sweethearts are just so great together.

Thanks to alphabetically assigned seating Anna and Charlie ended up sitting next to each other. It was their Junior year history class, and they would soon be studying more than history! Ha! It started slowly as a friendship and blossomed into a real dating relationship after a Christmas break spent together.

Although they ended up going to different colleges, they have together and their relationship kept growing. They spend every opportunity they get together. From movie nights in to cheering on their favorite teams they make the distance work.

Years later, they were in Birmingham for their friend’s birthday party. The day lead them to the Elyton Hotel rooftop for drinks. Overlooking the heart of Birmingham, Charlie got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. It was a perfect proposal and they got to spend the night celebrating with friends.

When I was with them, I can attest, they are just so perfect together! His humor and her kindness make them so fun to be around. They’ve got a relationship most people wait a lifetime for. Thankfully, they’ve been able to instead spend their lifetime so far enjoying growing up together.
